"Dear Reno Foundation,

Thank you for the scholarship for Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School. On my first day we repelled. On day 2 we practiced anchors. On day 3 we went to South Wall. On day 4 we went to South Wall. On day 5 we went to Eagles Bluff. On day 6 we went to Otter Cliffs and South Bubble. And on day 7 we went home. My favorite thing was Otter Cliffs because it had amazing climbs and a nice view." - Ramkel, 2022 Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School Scholarship recipient. 


Thanks to the Reeno Foundation I was able to take my single pitch instructor course through the AMGA and become a certified SPI! It has been a goal of mine for quite a while now and I can now start to pursue furthering my education as a rock climbing guide through higher level courses with the AMGA.
